My little girl is growing up!!

The last TWO nights Chloe has slept through the night.  She used to 'sleep through the night' for the last month or so but has been waking up twice.  You have to remember that 'sleeping through the night' is actually only 5 hours, in the younger months.  But the last two nights she slept 6-7 hours! It was heaven!

Her personality has definately blossomed this week. She keeps yelling at me! My mom keeps saying that this seems quite familiar. Imagine. Me yelling?!? Chloe loves the sound of her voice, the highs, the lows, the squeals, the screams.  It is hilarious. And then she'll look at me waiting for my reaction. We have just been laughing at each other the last few days. 

She has also taken a real interest in her limbs.  Her arms flap up and down in excitement.  In her jolly jumper, she gets going by flapping her arms, and then her legs to get a good jump.  SO CUTE. 

We took a trip to Medicine Hat, where she went the whole ride, there and back, without a peep. For the last month or so she has been screaming bloody murder every time I put her in her "crash pod" as daddy likes to call it.
I am definately enjoying my new baby, but am anticipating what she will be doing next and I am watching her change right before my eyes.  Its AMAZING

High Needs Babies?

I began researching High Needs Babies after I got this idea that I had one.  Aren't ALL babies High Needs? What does that even mean anyways.  Of course she is a high needs baby she can't do ANYTHING on her own.  They described them as being babies that are tired and hungry all the time....Is that not typical? If not I guess I DO have a high needs baby.....
I think she is too mature for her age and wants to be like the crazy adult aliens that take care of her.  (Meaning me and daddy).  She fights going to sleep EVERY nap and every evening bedtime, but she is so tired and CRANKY. Again I have a high needs baby.....I guess.  She will only go down while nursing, and gets overstimulated VERY easily.....Thats a high needs baby! She DOES like to be carried all the time and played with all the time, rather than on her own....Wouldn't YOU want to hang out with the adult aliens that tend to your every waking need every time? Or, is it that high needs baby again. I dont know, I am at a loss here.  I guess I just have to come terms with the fact that I have a high needs baby....Or that I have a baby.
